Free Eye-Checkup camps were organized in the community to help the general public, especially senior citizens. Since Cataract is the major cause of blindness, our main objective of conducting eye camp is to identify people with cataract and provide them with the necessary treatment, that is, surgery, cases of Glaucoma, to refer them to the base hospital for treatment. Vision testing services are a part of our Innovating Health Care Mission. Periodic eye checkup camps are organized by the NGO at different locations in Delhi. Free spectacles and eye-drops are distributed to the people identified with refrective error issues. We ensure proper health care for all our beneficiaries. Two Optometrists and an Ophthalmologist Surgeon from the eye hospital examined around 250 patients where around 100 patients were referred for eye surgery to the Government Hospital. The camp witnessed a seamless partnership between NGO, its members, community mobilizers, and volunteers.
